Played a round at Legends before work today. Nice day but cooler. No one was around me. The dude at the counter waved me on. He knows I have a pass.
Another hard round with the big freaking arc to the left and poor putting. If possible it was a worse round than the day before, 49. I am hard pressed to remember anything good about the round except that it was a really nice morning, no one was around me, and I found several golf balls. It started off with an 8 on hole 1. I lost the ball in the sun and it stayed lost. The hole faces directly east and there is nothing to block the sun as it rises. I thought I sent it toward the pond but I didn't see or hear a splash. It was down hill from there. Somewhere on hole 7 or so I realized my SW didn't have its cover.
I hit the 9i 2x; GW 3x; PW & 7i 1x and my new hybrid 2x. I left the 5i in the car to carry the hybrid I just got in the mail. The 21* hybrid was nice though I wonder if it was really any better than the 21* and 24* in my iron set which are Cleveland XLIs and already pretty hybrid-y.
If I say my bag is one club short is it just an excuse to buy a new bag? I really like the bag I am carrying. I like the dimensions but one more club would be great. I could go back to the wheelie cart. I had thought about clipping an umbrella to it.
