Got up to golf before work today. It stormed overnight and I would have slept in but it was pointless. I was already awake at 5:30 AM and again at 5:50 so I got up when the alarm went off. Found N in the living room at 6:30 when I started to leave. There was some rain as I was leaving. N was worried about the day at the pool being cancelled. I think it will still happen. It is supposed to clear up. Urbana got a lot more rain than the course did.
I played 9 with no one ahead of me. I started off well with 3 bogies in a row before I fell apart. I turned in a 48 with 3 penalties and a 5 and 4 putt. I think Rich is still in my head from the other day. Not sure what was going on. It was hot. I had my jacket. I was stiff. Still I was playing golf. Do I think I need more clubs? I like the bag I am carrying but maybe I should go back to the wheelie cart and get the umbrella clip as I've often considered. If Bob were to golf with me he could carry some extra clubs.
