Went to the driving range at lunch. Should have known there would be trouble when the card reader on the ball machine was down. The pro shot said the computer for it was down and that I could only pay cash. Seemed odd as the regular cash register was working. The dude drove down to the range shack and gave me a medium bucket.
The ground was mucky. I knew I was pushing it after the rain but I slogged away anyway. There was only one or two other people doing the same thing. I should have stayed home. Got a bad case of the lefts. Then the offset on my clubs started screwing with me. How do you tee up a club with offset - so it looks square at address with the clubhead further behind the ball and the shaft at an angle or the shaft striaght out from my body and the clubhead cockeyed?
Kind of ruins the mood. Does it have something to do with hitting off mucky grass after hitting on mats the prior day?
