Played 9 at Legends before work today. Got there a little after 7 AM. I was the only person playing. Cloudy overcast and breezy and probably not over 55*. I played in my windbreaker and long pants. They had my SW iron cover. Zipper was broken. I didn't think I had forgotten it.
I play putter, SW, GW, PW, 9i, 7i, & 5i. Today off the tee it was 5i 2x; GW 3x. The 9i-PW-7i-SW were each once off the tee. In many cases the SW is the second shot. I think yesterday I had more PW shots.
I struggled mightily with the 5i sending balls in my traditional big freaking arc to the left. Putting was pretty good, under 2 for the round though it was still off 4 feet to the right. I need to throw in an alignment stick and start using it. I turned in a 39 with three balls in the water. I did hit extra shots but I played the first. The round just didn't feel that good. Maybe it was the lack of sun.
