After the fiasco of a round today I hit the driving range with a large bucket of balls. A nice day but cooler. That kept most people away. Took about 50 tries to get the reader to read my card.
I started with the 9i and then 5i and 7i plus a few with the new hybird. I got a lot of height and distance on the 9i, seemingly out to 150. And fairly accurate. I did try to use an alignment stick but I felt like I was going to fall over it. Things fell apart with the 5i. Perhaps I am digging back too far on my back swing. The 7i wasn't as bad but I got frustrated. I did hit one or two nice shots with the new hybrid. but I do wonder if it is any better than my hybridized 3i.
My one question is where the freak do I put the ball, clubhead, and my hands on a club with offset? I still have Rich in my head questioning my closed clubface.
