Went to Legends at lunch and played 9. Cooler day with a stiff breeze and under 60* with no sun. I walked the 9. First I had to wait for the groundskeeper to move the hole on 1. I caught up to two young kids and their mom or grandmom playing golf. I think Champaign had no school today. I walked around them to hole 5 skipping hole 4.
I turned in a 42 with two disasterous holes. Putting was 2 putts per hole. I need to adjust the clubs in my bag for this course. I need to add the PW in place of the chipper. I don't really want to dump the 7W but it may come to that. I like this bag for going to the range too. On two or three holes I tried an easy 9 and caught the ball right and hand a nice long tee shot. Then on a couple of holes I skulled my tee shot. Funny how long it takes for driving range success to translate to teebox success.
Maybe I should dump the 7W for the 3i?
