another bucket

I hit the driving range at lunch today for a medium bucket. Nice sunny day again with some breeze. A bit more breeze than yesterday. Parkinglot was packed. Golf School side was packed. High school, maybe? Just a couple of people on the other side. The line was almost all the way back to the field.

Spent most of the bucket on my 5i. I was mostly happy with the shots. Seemed to tear up the ground more than yesterday. There were some phat shots but nothing horrendous.

Finished off the last dozen plus witht the 7W. Not as pretty as the day before. Never did really get into the groove but there were a few nice ones.

I'm struggling with the concept of shaft length and swing weight. My irons come in one length for steel shaft and one for graphite. The graphite is .75" longer than the steel version. Is the length right for me. The dude at the store measured me and looked at the clubs and said they were fine. Would the answer be the same if I had a steel version in my hand? Does the .75" make any difference? Can I shorten the shaft? Do I have to put that weight back on the club? Where? A dude on the internet is telling me to put the weight on the clubead. Why not the other end?

To the internet....!
