A lost Saturday

The Wife had to work until 5 on Saturday. Sister-in-law took the boys at 11 AM for a sleep over. Picked up my club from the golf store. What could possibly go wrong with 7 hours of freedom? Rain.

The golf store swapped the shaft in my Cobra Rail F 7 W 22* with a Wishon Interflexx regular flex shaft. Got the call that it was ready Friday evening. I didn't realize they shipped their clubs away...or that is what it seemed like.

Every old man in town was playing on the putting green in the golf store. A winnabego full of them at least. No place to go other than the golf store when it rains on a Saturday.

I headed out to Legends and hit a medium bucket and then a small bucket of balls. My left wrist was still bothering me from the other two driving range sessions that last week but I played through it. Legends has the covered heated bays. I took one toward the end. I hit every club in my Callaway carry bag. I was pleased with how it went. But I just couldn't wait long enough for the rain to clear. By the time I got home after several stops there were people out on the golf course.

From the driving range I found I definitely want an inch off the 7W. So I cut that off and regripped the club. The section of cabinets in my garage will make a nice club working area. I can't wait for the kitchen stuff to get out of my garage.
