Who mowes the driving range at lunch on a sunny Tueasday? I'll have to look back at last week. Didn't they do that then? I went to Legends and hit a medium ball. There were a couple of people on the line with me. I hit a bunch of shots with the 5i and a bunch with the 7W.
The 5i really came through for me. I have gotten to the point where the shot is repeating itself. Mostly straight and mostly far. Not sure it is going 175 as I want or dream for myself with a 5i.
Some of my shots with the 5i seemed to be in a real hurry to get back on the ground to the point where I would describe it as slamming itself into the ground. I don't think I;ve seen it on the course but I don't usually hit that many 5i in a row on the course (or on the par 3 9 hole course at all) to see this happen.
The 7W was a bit more of a struggle. There were more miss-hits and curving flight path both to the left and to the right. I think that is a sign of inconsistent swing and setup. Working on it.
