Hit a medium bucket at the driving range during lunch today. Hot and sunny day. Probably almost 80* There were a few people on the range but not many. A dude and his girlfriend. A mom and dad and their kid. A couple of others.
I hit the 9i to start. Many satisfying shots with good distance. Sometimes I wonder if the shot isnt going too high but I guess that is the purpose of a 45* club - to go high but not super far.
Switched to the 5i. Man that was fun. I had several shots of the kind that keep me coming back. The ball just took off straight and then it seemed to hover before climbing for more altitude. A bunch more were pretty good. I am messing with weakening my right hand a bit more (or at least turning it more palm down). I also moved the ball back a bit in my stance. I need to tee up with less of a gap between my club and the ball. I think
Fiddled with the 7W, 5W, and driver to finish out the bucket. the Driver did ok. The 7W had some nice shots. The 5W started going to the right but I was at the end of the bucket so I can't really complain.
Hitting the whole bucket felt pretty good. How do people hit bucket after bucket?
