The oldest and I snuck out on Sunday and played 9 at Stone Creek with Brad and Tim. Met them at 12:30. Course was wide open. Nice day. Clouds burned off.
I finished the front 9 with a 45. I had two pars and two double bogies. Wood shots off the tee were going right. Irons stayed mostly straight and far enough. The five iron really worked the couple of times I really needed it to come through for me. I would hit into trouble with my 3W and dig myself out with my hybrid or 5i. Putting was pretty good. I am really enjoying playing.
Ran into Rich on hole 3. He was finishing 18 that he started at 9:30 that morning. My whole goal is to be good enough at golf for him to call when a 4th is needed. Why do I need his approval? Because I got into this game during the golf outings for his son.
Boy 1 played most of every hole and did really well. He just hits the ball and expects it to do well. He is beginning to really connect with the ball.
