golf store thursday

I hit the golf store at lunch today. Actually got time to talk to the little dude at the store. Actually actually he had time to talk to me. I hit the Cleveland Mashie Fairway wood in 18* in the store hitting net. It didn't do anything for me. I showed the little dude where the masking tape showed I was hitting the ball - low and on the toe. He suggested that event the 5w is too long for me now. Which is odd as I had so much hope for the mashie FW because it was on the shorter side of things. My arms are pulled in toward my body. Wonder if my irons are that way too. The graphite version of my irons are longer than the steel version...
