I hit the driving range at lunch today for a medium bucket. Temps are somewhere in the 60s and windy. Clouds cleared off over lunch. ground was a little damp. There were two or three other people on the range at the same time. They had the sun in their eyes and wind in their face. To avoid the sun in my face (so I can admire my many pretty shots) I went on the golf school side and had the wind from righ to left.
Warmed up with the 9 iron. A couple were decent and one or two were good. Dropped down to the 7 iron. A couple were decent and maybe one was good. Some of the shorter shots were straight like I wanted. I'm working on weakening my grip and moving in on the ball. I hit far out on the toe many times. Hit the 5H. Some decent shots. Finally hit the Adams 7W. Had a couple of decent shots. There is a sound that sounds like a slide whistle. Not sure if that is on a good shot or a miss-hit or just the wind hitting the speed slot. Moved on to the 5W. Caught a couple the right way and got nice ball flight. That is the reason I bought the club with the Interflexx shaft. Finished with a couple on the 3W (nothing worth while) and a couple on the driver. First two driver shots were good and the rest sucked.
