The boys and I hit the golf course on Saturday. We got up with the plan to play a round at Legends to give mommy some time for herself. As we we pulled out of the driveway it began to sprinkle. We talked about not being able to play if it rains. They were game.
We got to the course after driving through rain into lighter rain. Bought our cart and even got a dry one from the barn. We tee'd off in the rain. Garrett wouldn't leave the cart. They both asked me where their sweatshirts were as I put mine on. I flubbed my birdie putt and Nicholas finished off with a 5. I knew it was raining too hard and was too cold when Garrett said he wished he was in the building with Will. We packed it in and went home
After lunch Nicholas and I went back and played the round. It was great. Nice and sunny - almost warm. He hit a 45 and I hit a 39 with one penalty. Great time.
