Got in a round of 9 at Legends while the kids were at the park. I was going to golf with them but they got a better offer. Got out to Legends just after lunch. There were a few golfers finishing but I never saw anyone ahead of me on the course. Nice day in the 50s with sun and a little wind.
I should learn to not congratulate myself on putting as that is the kiss of death and leads to a missed short putt. I was happy with my putting as I was close to the pin on most of my first putts.
It was the balls I lost that killed my score today. Yikes. Still I hit a nice 5 iron shot on hole 6 and if I hadn't been patting myself on my back about putting I would have had par not a double bogie. Nice day none the less and I wasn't hurried.
Bought my season pass for next year. Money well spent.
Regripped the rest of my clubs with the tour velvet jumbo. Now I need to get the shaft extension for my driver and a new grip for that.
