Kids had the day off from school so I got up a little early and hit Legends for a round before work. No frost but rain last night. Got to the course at about 7:35 and there was no one there. Literally an empty parking lot. The sign on the course says it opens at 9 AM. Oh well. Strapped on my gear and played anyway. The course was in good shape. Amazing what nice-ish temps and less traffic will do.
This is the first round after the lesson and the bunches of driving range sessions. Had a low of a 5 and a high of 9 on the holes with 2 and 3 putts. Putting was not the problem though on the hole where I was congratulating myself for putting well I missed the short put. Karma :)
Shots were wild and wooly. Need to groove my new stance on the range as well as on the driving range. Still, I played golf before work without freezing in November.
