I hit the driving range at lunch today for a large bucket. I think the guy ahead of me got extra and I got a medium bucket instead of a large. While I didn't count the balls it seems that I burned through the bucket pretty quickly. I did have a good groove on.
I hit mostly the 7i and tried to practice all the broken items. I did achieve divots and mostly straight shots with decent distance. I did get some curvy shots and some really long straight shots. The most exciting thing, besides the long straight shots, was the dirty spot on my irons was in the sweet spot. If anything it was too close to the hosel.
I tried the 5i with not quite the same luck as the 7i but not bad either.
The shots with the Wishon's were disaster. I don't know how I hit the one shot with the 5W 193 this morning.
Finished off the bucket with the SW and tried to hit the edge of the range and the start of the rough where the grass suddenly gets 3" taller. I wanted to hit that line...in front of me.
