best round ever

Played a round of 9 at Legends with Mike this morning.  Met him at 6:45.  Waited a few minutes while he warmed up putting and chipping.  Never saw anyone ahead of us and there was a pair behind us but they kept back enough to not be a problem.

I don't normally play with people in the morning.  Having Mike helped my concentration.  I took care on my shots and putts.  This supports Jeff's idea that the cards I show him don't match what I do in each lesson - meaning I should be scoring better.  Turned in a 30 with no penalties, 2 birdies and 4 pars and 16 putts.  Not every club worked well but they weren't complete disasters either.  There was some luck too like a putt from the first cut that went in.

I used the PW, 7i, 9i, GW, and 5i along with SW and putter.  I carried the 3i but never pulled it out.

Looking back I missed PAR for the course by 1 and I had a 3 putt.  Arg.
