Because I worked a lot the last two weeks I took Friday afternoon off. The family joined me for a round of golf at Legends. The boys had passes from their golf camp and I have the season pass so all we had to pay for was 4 carts. Buying stuff racks up points towards discount on the next season pass so it is not such a bad idea to purchase things.
It was a good round for Nicholas. He played all holes end to end and shot a 62. He did ok with lost balls and bad shots though he had a few drives and chips that were excellent. Garrett melted down at about hole 3 or 4 because of a cut. He drifted in and out of playing the holes. Not a fair test to see if he can handle the parent child tourney later in August.
Lisa mocked me for several holes with the accusation that I must be cheating on her every morning when I get up early and leave. Although I say I am playing golf she couldn't tell that from my game. Funny. I lost my temper at the kids more than I wanted but all in all it was a good round.
