getting better

Both my game and my back are getting better. I played another round at Legends after my chiropractor. The new math is still hard and this time I pulled the flag when putting. I turned in a 39 with 7 penalty strokes and two putts I left short.

Hole 6 still owns me. Holes with drivers (4 & 7) eat the first ball in big arcs to the right. Not sure what adjustment I make to get the second shot off the tee to work. Hole 9 owns me since the tournament. I keep reproducing that hole with the same results. Doing the same thing over and over. Putting was good at 14 putts for the 9 holes but 2 were left short and I had some really good chip shots that put me into the 18" putt range.

I think the biggest thing is to nail down the preshot routine. I extended my putting routine today and had the good results (aside from being close on many holes I did drop a couple of 12' putts). I need to nail down the preshot routine for off the tee and off the deck and a third (or the same in all 3 cases) when I duff or flub the tee shot as hole 9 today can attest with 3 shots into the water and a 7 as my score there.
