father-son-son tournament

Played another father-son tournament at Legends. This time I took Garrett and Tim took Nicholas. Garret played about 25% of the course so I had Nicholas hit for Garrett. Nicholas played almost two rounds of 9 holes that way. The Selks played and so did a couple of the families from last time. Nice sunny warm day but not too hot. Nicholas had some nice shots and so did Garrett. Tim worked with Nicholas on aiming his shots. Sometimes Nicholas listens to anyone else other than me. Tim and I both put our first shots in the water on the first hole we played, hole 5. Funny. Took a penalty and hit again. We played quickly and well for most of the holes. I stayed out of the water on holes 4 and 7 with about a 220 yard tee shot on hole 7. Nicholas and Tim beat Garrett and me by 1 shot with a 43 and us a 44. Their 43 was good enough for 5th place! Nicholas was so happy. Nicholas also got the closest to the tee award for his shot on hole 8. It was a great 5 iron shot to about 4' from the pin. Unfortunately Garrett and I didn't win anything but lunch there was good and the day was fun.
