Played a round at Legends before work today. Hot and humid but not as bad as yesterday in the early afternoon. Still hot enough to be soaked by the end. The usual two-some was finishing as I started. A single in a cart came speeding through. I let him play through on 5. As I finished I saw him zip off on hole one again. Wonder if he was tuning up for the Junior Tournament today? Even though there has been high heat they were trimming the greens.
Turned in a 37 with 17 putts. Messed up on holes 3, 4, and 8. Some putting issues though I did have four holes in a row with 1 putt. Made some nice long ones and missed some stupid short ones. And some PW issues. I know I get in trouble when I push the SW too far but I am mentally convinced the PW has a problem. I'll have to ask Jeff about it. I know he looked at it before.
I am really struggling on hole 5 going over the water. That is a GW hole. Either too far or to the right into the water. I als struggle on 8 & 9 both over the water too. EIght is a SW-GW and nine is a GW-PW depending on wind, tee box, and pin placement.
