That is what the 94* F feels like. Went to Legends after lunch so I played in the prime heat. Only a pair was a head of me and another single started as I finished. My drinks kept getting warm.
I hit a 32 with just under 2 putts per hole. I bogied holes 2 and 9 and blew up on hole 6. That hole owns me. Otherwise I hit a drive for 227 with an actual driver. That was exciting. So exciting I hit the driver again on the same hole and ended up within a yard of the first drive. Too bad I was blading wedges.
Putting was pretty good but a left a couple short and blew a few putts on hole 6 as part of the problems on that hole.
The pair in front of me were slow. I played holes 4 and 6 twice each just to stay off their heels. I wasn't in any hurry so it didn't matter.
Got a small bucket of balls afterwards and worked 5 balls each on the SW GW 9i 7i 5i 3i and a few on the driver. The 8* driver shore doesn't get very high. The heat really took it out of me. I got sloppy at the end because of the heat and having played 9 with many extra shots on those holes.
Showed Jeff my card and setup the next lesson.
