with Bob

I think I was a bit more quiet this morning at least until I took the legos out of the sink and put them on my dresser and spilled the chest of jewels. I am not sure but I think Nicholas was up as I was leaving. I didn't stop to check.

Bob and I each grabbed just a couple of clubs and shared a golf bag on a pull cart. I took putter, chipper, 7i and hybrid. He took putter, 9i, 5i, and 3i. I think we will leave the 9i and the 7i next time. We got through the round in about an hour even with a few extra shots. Hole 6 ate our lunch but it was fun. We shed a few golf balls and only found one lost one.

I have always dreamed about a minimalist golf bag but any time I started to shed clubs I got nervous and put more and more in. My main bag is a standard stand bag that holds 14 (sometimes 16) clubs plus balls, tees, bug spray, sun screen, poncho, gps, lighter, cutter, pencils, etc. It always seemed easier to throw that on the pull cart than to shed clubs. But them I fall into the trap of pulling the club for the distance rather than controlling the shot. It isn't like I am carrying the thing on my back...ever. Though I do browse EBAY looking at the small carry bags and dream...

Today is going to be a steamy day with heat index over 100. Only one or two other players on the course.
