Only one day this week

With the kids in golf camp Tuesday through Friday I only have Monday to golf before work. Bob met me this morning with his three or four clubs. I added my putter, the gap, and my ping hybrid so we had putter, putter, gap, 7i, 5i, 3i, and 19* hybrid. We left the 9i that we took the last time and really didn't need the hybrid.

The morning was overcast to start and chilly. We had to wait at the first hole for the sprinklers to finish wetting the ground for the fertilizer being spread by the grounds crew. The course was damp but not bad. The smaller golf bag we used had clubs, balls, tees, and score cards but no pencils so we didn't keep score. In my mind I hit a 36.

The round was fun even though the gap wedge currently isn't my friend. Had trouble getting it in the air let alone straight. I hit the 7i OK on hole 3, long enough but left as usual. The hybrid shot on 4 was far but to the left. I really whacked the 5i on hole 6 for a birdie. That was straight on past the pin by about 12 feet. My 3i shot on 7 was nice and far and in the center of the green.
