Even though it was a bit hot an muggy I hit a small bucket at the driving range. Ran into one of the golf camp helpers at the driving range. He recognized me and was kind enough to mention that Nicholas and Garrett are nice kids. It sounded like he was looking forward to the hour of golf on Tuesday.
I am back to struggle with the Ping G5 25* hybrid but not too bad. maybe I'll drop the Ping G5 25* hybrid and put my 4i back in the back. I didn't try the rest of the hybrids to see if that is a pattern. Because the current theme of my thinking is shaft I blame it for not being the same brand as the shafts in the other hybrids. My current plan is to get my irons reshafted with shafts fitted for me. Surely that will be about the same $$$ as a new/different set of clubs with a different shaft choice for me. Surely.
Started out with the GW and worked my way down to the 7i and 5i and finally H22. The GW and I mostly made up. The makeup driving range session wasn't spectacular but it did appear I launched it nearly 120 according to the distance markers. I hit the 7i and 5i reasonably well. I think I need to stop trying to crush the ball. Wonder what would happen if I stopped hunching over?
