Today was hot but less humid so it felt better than yesterday. I could feel my hair curling when ever I was outside. I didn't have Bozo the clown hair but that is what it felt like to me yesterday. Today was just hot and hazy. Wonder how much of the haze was really pollution. CMI is in a valley.
For the small bucket of balls I took the CHBXLI 9i and the NS2 7H & 5H. The 9i curved to the left-ish but was tolerable. The odd thing is that any time I turned to the side to aim at the white flag (~120 from where I was standing) I fell apart. Why do I have to hit out straight when between the two ropes at the driving range? The pre-existing divots aimed off to 10 & 11 o'clock rather than straight out. I even found that disconcerting.
The 7H and 5H were duds both for distance and curving to the leftness. I can do that with my regular set of irons (which are pretty much hybrids anyway). I have pretty well concluded that I would like to hit my own iron set 5i-9i so I will unload the Nike Sumo2 hybrids 7h-6h-5h on EBAY as a set. Wonder what the trade-in policy is at the golf store? Can I trade in multiple clubs against the cost of a new one? Note to self to find that out
