If yesterday at the driving range qualified as a peak then today was a valley. Today was hot and humid. The kind of surprise hot and humid day that comes once or twice in April or May just to let everyone know summer is coming.
Got a small bucket at lunch and took the 3W and the 4H. I stunk it up for all but a couple or three balls on the 4H and the 3W proved to be the normal challenge or a few shortish balloon shots and many more driven into the ground beheading worms along the way. I know I am still making swing after swing and by the end of the time with the 3W my back was getting tired. I guess I am building up stamina each time.
How do people hit bucket after bucket all day long? For a while there I was reading books about hacks who put in time and tried to become pro or a scratch golfer or make it to the tour. They hit tons of buckets in a row.
The guy in the "bay" down from me looked like a talker. As I was leaving he grumbled to me about the yardage markers not being correct. I guess he didn't see me hit the ball as I never connected well enough to really worry about distance. I didn't think anyone went to the driving range to figure out how far they were hitting.
